Coaching Staff
Kim Schneckloth
Grad Assistant
Schneckloth, a native of nearby Davenport, is a member of the Ashford University women's soccer coaching staff as a second-year graduate assistant. She aids Head Coach Mick Regan in all operations of the women's soccer program and a was a key reason why the Saints claimed Midwest Collegiate Conference regular-season and tournament titles along with an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships last fall.
A four-year letterwinner and three-year captain, Schneckloth played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She was among the Pioneers' leading scorers as a freshman, collecting Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors before suffering an injury.
The WIAC again recognized her efforts on the field as a junior in 2008 and Schneckloth landed on the all-league ballot. She completed her prep career at Davenport West High School.
In the offseason, Schneckloth helped out at UW-Platteville soccer summer camps in 2008 and 2009. Most recently, she has taken on head coaching responsibilities for the Quad Cities United Warriors, an under-11 club team.
Schneckloth is currently working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Recreation Management while at Ashford. She currently resides in Clinton.

Nick Roman
Grad Assistant
Roman joins the Ashford women's soccer coaching staff following the program's best season in school history with a graduate assistantship role. He accepted the position prior to the start of the fall semester in 2011.
Roman will be specializing with the Saints' goalkeepers, a position he is well acquainted with after a standout four-year career straight out of Belvidere High School. He will be working in conjunction with fellow graduate assistant Kim Schneckloth and three-time Midwest Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year, Mick Regan.
Roman was another First-Team All-MCC recipient and pitched six consecutive shutouts in net behind the 2009 squad's remarkable postseason run. Also a four-time MCC Defensive Player of the Week, he allowed a paltry 0.82 goals per game as a senior while recording 70 saves.
Roman was also a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and made a career-high 11 saves against Mt. Mercy University (Nov. 8) in his junior campaign. He blanked seven opponents last fall and accounted for 12 of the Saints' 13 wins in net.
Roman also played an inaugural season for the Quad City Eagles, a semi-pro National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) affiliated club that included men's soccer graduate assistants Eddie Garza and Kyle Yager along with current team member Willy Kappie.
Roman will pursue his Master's Degree in Business Administration after graduating from Ashford earlier this year in Computer Graphic Design. Roman has been instrumental in making the Ashford University Sports Performance Yearly Awards (AUSPY's) a huge success the past two years.
Roman currently resides in Clinton.
